Allright, I ain't gonna take back the usual blah blah that goes "Hobbies:... Fave classes:... Zodiac sign:..." and stuff, so let me do it my way, okay?
Sailor Jupiter, aka Makoto Kino, is part of the Inner Senshi, or the Sailors represented by the inner planets. Easily recognizable with her ponytail, she enjoys cooking (amongst other things).
History: When I told you "It's not Naoki (Maeda), but you're one vowel close", I referred to Naoko... Takeuchi, of course!
So, here goes. What I once called the G2 Project is none other than Sailor Jupiter. How I came to cosplay a "Mahou / Sentai Shoujo", that's a long story. First of all, you need to know that, before 2005 and my second "pilgrimage" to the USA, just being presented with anything related from short or far distance to the Sailor Senshi was enough to put me into a state of semi-confusion. A "laharlian fear" of Sailormoon (Disgaea fans will understand) that I have decided to eradicate once and for all.
Now, why Jupiter and not anyone else? First, she's the only one who has neither high heels, nor calf-high boots. Second, she's the tallest (I think). To tell the truth, I don't see myself doing Chibi Moon :D I prefer leaving this task to my compatriot Clef, to whom I send my greetings... Greetings also to Faye / Ichigo: I had this cosplay idea thanks to them both.
Since I'm just a newcomer in the Senshi world (an unexpected guest, if I may say), I'll only do Sailor Jupiter's normal version. No Season S nor Super nor Eternal nor even that head-blasting, painstakingly hard Seramyu version: just the normal version.
Besides, since my Yuna crossplay has been rather appreciated, by my compatriots and also by AX2005 attendants (isn't it Shana "audioventchick"? ;-) ), why not keeping on and doing a few more girl cosplays? Why not? As I said earlier, I'm always asked "why", but never "why not"!
