Name: Sailor Jupiter
Origin: Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon
Status: Born... and alive!

Allright, I ain't gonna take back the usual blah blah that goes "Hobbies:... Fave classes:... Zodiac sign:..." and stuff, so let me do it my way, okay?
Sailor Jupiter, aka Makoto Kino, is part of the Inner Senshi, or the Sailors represented by the inner planets. Easily recognizable with her ponytail, she enjoys cooking (amongst other things).

History: Here we are... my "laharlian" fear of Sailormoon is no longer existing. It took me years in waiting and this cosplay to come to this point. From EPITAnime 2005 to Japan Expo 2007 to be more accurate.

First, why Jupiter and not another one? First, she's the only one with no high heels nor calf-goddamnly-high boots. Second, she's the tallest (or one of the tallest). To be honest, I'm not fit for Chibi Moon :D

That said, my second crossplay (first one being Yuna) wasn't an easy deal. I'll skip past the details and the "legal battles" to get to the costume in itself: satin-like fabric for the skirt and the bows, and a leotard made from scratch using the adequate fabric... the gloves and the wig were bought online, thanks eBay! As for the boots, I found them discounted during the sales period and sprayed them green before putting the white laces, easy as pie.
I also thank my mother for the tiara, and for her help during the "assembly phases".
Only detail left apart: the rolls over the gloves. Being out of time, I decided to zap these. That said, the costume could have been Just Great if this damned ponytail had accepted to stay in place...

If you don't like it... you know where to click... however, if you appreciate even only a bit, thanks very much. Know that this costume has a very strong symbolic value for me... but I'm straying!

Only one picture taken, with my own camera, by a rhythm-gamer...

Not convinced? Allright, I'll set the odds higher: I'm gonna show you that cosplay and rhythm-gaming at the same time is indeed possible.
