Little I know about this "classy" fighter from the SNK universe. To the best of my knowledge, he's been featured on almost games of the King Of Fighters series, if not all. He's most often to be found hanging around with his team mates: Ryo Sakazaki and his sister Yuri. The trio were also the heading figures of an older fighting game, 'Art of Fighting', also developed by SNK before KOF started.
History:
Some days after my second escapade to the United States in 2005, it all started that way in the French Cosplay Forum: "My dream would be to make a KOF character, that would be a nice change from Final Fantasy.". The reply was immediate: "Yeah, go on! A guy for KOF! A guy for KOF! We're making a group and we're lacking of guys!" I then learned about that KOF group project that was planned for the Harajuku Festival 2005 in Paris and decided to join them. My first group cosplay experience ever!
Everyone who knows the King Of Fighters series knows how easy some of the costumes are: Ralf's and Clark's, for example. There are many of them that need little sewing, or not at all. Robert makes no exception. I only had to deal with the orange vest, crafted using Yuna's garments as a model. Add on Van Fanel's white pants, with a black shirt I already had in my wardrobe, and there you are.
Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough to find shoes that were matching, nor the fighting mittens... But to my honest opinion, most KOF players would already be able to recognize Mr. Robbie here, don't you think?
By the way, I'd like to thank all of the great people who gathered for the group, and also Minako and Flam for managing everything till the end. You all rocked JUST GREAT! The group pics prove it!
